Foundations of M&E

Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) can seem daunting, especially for smaller or newer organizations. I’m here to simplify the process and provide you with practical, actionable strategies that will drive your organizational success. The Foundations of M&E workshops start with the basics and are designed to be hands-on. By the end, you'll have a clear grasp of how to develop a Theory of Change, set up effective evaluation systems, and implement monitoring tools that truly make a difference.

The workshops are right for all people wanting to deepen their understanding of how to set up effective M&E systems – no previous M&E experience is required. Certificates of completion will be provided to all participants with 100% attendance who also complete the output assignments within the deadlines.

After the first session, participants have an understanding of what monitoring and evaluation is, and how it can help drive their work forward in a desired way. They also know how to read and create a Theory of Change.

After the second session, participants are able to create a basic log frame and understand a number of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods and when and how to use them. They have a foundational understanding of data safety.
